MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Friday, May 16th, will always be a memorable day in the life of IU Kokomo Baseball alumnus Eston Stull. 

Stull, a 2021 graduate of IU Kokomo, had his contract purchased by the Minnesota Twins organization this past Friday. A day later he was assigned to their High-A affiliate, the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

Eston made his minor league debut Sunday afternoon against the Peoria Chiefs, turning in an efficient outing in his lone inning of work. Called upon in the top of the sixth to stop the bleeding, Stull faced the minimum, inducing a pair of ground-outs and striking out one to post a zero in his first outing as a member of the Twins organization.

In his time at IU Kokomo, Stull worked 159.2 innings on the mound with a strong record of 13-4, striking out 187 opponent hitters. With a year of eligibility remaining upon earning his degree from IUK, he transferred to NAIA power Southeastern University (FL), where he helped lead the fire to the program's second NAIA National Championship in 2022.
