Interviews: All interviews with IU Kokomo student-athletes and coaches must be arranged through the Athletic Communications office. After games, matches, and other athletic events, all locker rooms are off limits to members of the media. Player and coach interviews should instead be conducted outside locker room entrances or on the playing surface after a five-minute cooling off period for participants.

Practices: Cougar practices are typically open to the media as long as one provides an advance notice of attendance.

Game Day Coverage and Press Passes: Credentials are available for any media member as long as he/she provides Grant Patterson with a 24-hour advanced notice. The Athletic Communications Office will provide rosters, statistics, and media guides prior to games and statistical information immediately following each contest.

Game Programs, Game Notes, and Media Information: Pre-game information may be obtained from the Athletics Communications office. If notes, programs, etc., are not available, the Athletic Communications office will assist members of the working media in any way possible to gather information and ensure accurate reporting.

Media Guarantees: At all University Athletic Events, internet access will be made available to members of the working media. The Athletic Communications office also ensures a work-space for media personnel who provide advanced notice of coverage. 

Radio: Any visiting radio broadcasts must make the Athletic Communications office a five-day advanced notice. The Athletic Communications office will provide rosters, statistics, and media guides prior to games and statistical information immediately following each contest.

Photographers: The Athletic Communications office photographs home games for all Cougar athletic programs. These photographs are intended solely for use by media as well as future IU Kokomo publications. 

Photo Regulations: Any photo displayed on iukcougars.com is property of the University and cannot be used in any way without express written consent.

Live Stats/Live Video/Live Audio: All home IU Kokomo athletic events will be live streamed via video. Live stats will be available at all home women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, and baseball games. In addition, live play-by-play audio commentary will be available for a majority of home athletic events.
