Indoor Practice Facility

The IU Kokomo Indoor Practice Facility provides a reliable, year-round training space for Cougar Athletics, supporting baseball as well as track and field, golf, and women’s soccer. Designed with athlete development in mind, the facility offers a controlled, professional environment for skill refinement, conditioning, and performance training.

Primarily home to the baseball program, the facility is fully caged with protective netting and can be divided into three separate batting cages, allowing multiple athletes or teams to practice simultaneously. The space is live-abs capable, turfed with the original Kokomo Municipal Stadium surface, and equipped with Rapsodo technology, multiple pitching machines, and mounds—making it perfect for offseason bullpens and year-round skill development.

Beyond baseball, the indoor facility’s versatility supports other sports programs, giving track and field athletes, golfers, and soccer players space for drills, conditioning, and practice in a safe, consistent environment. Every element of the facility is designed to maximize efficiency, performance, and athlete growth, making it a critical resource for IU Kokomo teams.
