Kaleb Preston Named Assistant Coach of Women's Soccer Program

KOKOMO, Ind. – Indiana University Kokomo head women's soccer coach Sohaila Akhavein is excited to announce the hiring of Kaleb Preston as the program's assistant coach.

"I am so excited that Coach Preston will be joining our program as our new assistant coach," said Akhavein. "He is exactly what we are looking for to help us continue to take our program to the next level."
 
Preston joins the Cougars after serving as a staff coach and assistant camp director for FC Athletico in North Carolina. 
 
"Kaleb is a natural leader with such a passion for the game. He has an infectious personality and relates to all players on a personal level. With his soccer knowledge and club coaching experience we are so happy to bring him on board to keep taking this program to the next level," continued Akhavein.
 
Coach Preston attended Ball State University where he was part of the men's club soccer team. During his time in Muncie, Preston coached the Delaware County Futbol Club, leading the U13 and U14 programs.
 
Preston completed his master's degree in Coaching and Exercise Science at Concordia University Irvine and holds his US Soccer National D License.
