KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo women's soccer team secured their fourth-straight victory Thursday night, capitalizing on a late first-half own goal by WVU Tech to claim a 1–0 win.

THE RUNDOWN
- WVU Tech controlled possession for much of Saturday afternoon's match, as steady rain began to fall over the final 20 minutes. The Cougars were outshot 9–4 in shots on target.
- Late in the first half, WVU Tech's Oda Aksnes played a pass back toward her own goal, but a miscommunication and errant touch left the goalkeeper out of position as the ball rolled into the net, giving IU Kokomo a 1–0 lead in the 43rd minute.
- The Golden Bears fired seven shots on target in the second half, turning the final 45 minutes into a shooting drill as they pressed for an equalizer throughout.
- Senior goalkeeper Kailee Moore responded every time the Golden Bears, keeping WVU Tech off the scoreboard as the Cougars held on for a 1-0 victory.
