KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo women's basketball team is set to travel to Illinois Friday for a non-conference matchup with the Tigers of Olivet Nazarene.

IU Kokomo comes into Friday night's matchup at Olivet Nazarene on the backs of their first win of the season, a 72-61 over Brescia on the road. Friday's game in Illinois is the first of three consecutive non-conference matchups over winter break before returning to River States Conference play January 3rd at Rio Grande.

Junior forward Alaya Chapman led the Cougars this past Saturday at Brescia with 21 points and eight rebounds. Anya Friend is leading IUK in scoring, averaging 12 points per game.

Olivet Nazarene enters the week with a record of 5-4, having beat Governors State 80-60. The Tigers are 2-2 on their home floor in the McHie Center so far this season. Olivet played fellow RSC foe IU East Tuesday night in Richmond and fell 111-105 to the Red Wolves.

Friday's matchup will be the first all-time meeting between IU Kokomo and Olivet Nazarene.
