KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo women's basketball program has officially released its 2026-27 schedule, as the Cougars look to build on a 2025-26 campaign that saw them advance to the River States Conference Tournament quarterfinals for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
IU Kokomo is set to play 15 regular-season games inside the Student Activities & Events Center on the campus of IUK in 2026-27, including eight River States Conference contests. The Cougars will play 28 regular-season games in total, with 16 conference matchups on the schedule.
The Cougars will open the season with a pair of road contests, beginning October 31st at Simmons College in Louisville, Kentucky, before traveling to Calumet College of St. Joseph on November 4th. IU Kokomo will then return home for its first two games inside the SAEC, welcoming Mount Vernon Nazarene on November 7th and Cornerstone on November 11th.
IU Kokomo's non-conference slate features several notable matchups, including home contests against Huntington on November 24th, Holy Cross on December 9th and Grace on December 30th. The Cougars will also travel to Michigan three times during the opening portion of the season, facing Cleary, Michigan-Dearborn and Lawrence Tech.
River States Conference play begins December 12th when IU Kokomo welcomes WVU Tech to the SAEC. The Cougars will play two conference contests in December before returning to RSC action January 5th against Kentucky Christian. Conference play will continue throughout January and February, with the regular season scheduled to conclude February 20th when IU Kokomo hosts IU Columbus for Senior Day.
The River States Conference Championship is set to begin following the conclusion of the regular season, with the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship Opening Round following in March.
