LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The IU Kokomo men's track and field team turned in a record-setting weekend at NCAA Division I Louisville, competing Thursday through Saturday as multiple Cougars delivered standout performances amongst loaded fields.

THE RUNDOWN
- Steven Case continued his strong run of form, posting career-best marks while setting new school records in both the 1500 meters (4:04.35) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:42.29).
- Gabe Wedmore continued his standout season by hitting the NAIA "B" standard in both the shot put and hammer throw. He placed seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 56.34 meters and finished fifth in the shot put at 16.29 meters, while currently holding the top mark in the conference in the hammer throw.
- Rico Ortiz added to the Cougars' record-breaking weekend, setting a new school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.05.
- Rhett Berryman continued the strong showing in the throws, climbing to third all-time in program history in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.15 meters, finishing ninth in the event.
- Isaac Ireland added to the Cougars' depth in the throws, moving to fifth all-time in program history in the shot put with a mark of 15.77 meters, placing eighth in a field that included teammates Gabe Wedmore, Seth Ireland, and Evan Gaylor ahead of him.
