KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo men's cross country program has released their 2025 recruiting class, a class that features seven student-athletes, with all seven being incoming freshmen.
Led by head coach
Josh Colvin and associate head coach
Jordan Fivecoate, IU Kokomo is looking to return to the top of the River States Conference in 2025, having finished fifth at the 2024 RSC XC Championships.
2025 Recruiting Class:
Brayden Clawson | Lafayette, IN | Clinton Prairie High School
Brayden will join the IU Kokomo family this fall, having recently graduated from Clinton Prairie High School. In his time there he played four different sports, all while finishing Top-15 in the Sectional twice while earning both All-Conference and All-County honors.
Clawson is set to major in Business at IU Kokomo.
Connor Frederick | Kokomo, IN | Kokomo High School
Connor is set to stay in his hometown as he begins his college career this fall, having just completed a strong prep career at Kokomo High School. He was a four-year varsity letter-winner in both cross country and track, earning Most Improved, the Total Wildkat, and Hardest Worker awards throughout his career.
Frederick is undecided on his future major, with Finance and Math as possible areas of study
Travis Hoffman | Madison, IN | Madison Consolidated High School
Travis comes to IU Kokomo this fall after closing out his prep career at Madison Consolidated High School. A standout distance runner from southern Indiana, he helped lead his team to a Sectional crown in both cross country and track while earning Team MVP honors.
Hoffman will study Exercise Science in his time at IU Kokomo.
Karter Jackson | Clinton, IN | South Vermillion High School
Karter will join the IU Kokomo family this fall, having recently graduated from South Vermillion High School. In his time there, he set a new school record for wins with 21, all while setting a new school record time of 15.49. A two-time conference champion and 2024 Sectional champ, he was a four-year Regional Qualifier and All-Conference honoree.
Jackson is set to major in Exercise Science at IU Kokomo.
Jeremiah Miles | Roachdale, IN | North Putnam High School
Jeremiah Miles is set to join the IU Kokomo program this fall, having just completed his prep career at North Putnam High School. An active student-athlete in high school, he was a four-time All-Conference honoree, seven-time All-County award winner, and the 2025 North Putnam Outstanding Athlete of the 2025 class.
Miles plans to major in Computer Science/Mathematics while at IU Kokomo
Isaiah Moore | Kokomo, IN | Maconaquah High School
A Kokomo native, Isaiah comes to IU Kokomo this fall after graduating from Maconaquah High School. He was a part of two Sectional title winning teams, qualified for IHSAA Semi-State, and played a role in the 4x800 meter relay team that set a new school record,
Moore will study Health Science in his time at IU Kokomo.
Jaxsen Muncie | Kempton, IN | Tipton High School
Jaxen will join the IU Kokomo family this fall after closing out his high school career at nearby Tipton High School. A three-year MVP, four-year varsity letterwinner, and Chris Adams award winner, Jaxsen was also a strong student in the classroom.
Muncie is set to major in Criminal Justice at IU Kokomo.
Daylen Schrock | Bunker Hill, IN | Maconaquah High School
Daylen is set to join the IU Kokomo program shortly, having just completed his prep career at Maconaquah High School. He was his team's Most Valuable Runner twice, winning an individual conference championship while helping the lead the Braves to two team Sectional titles.
Schrock plans to major in Exercise Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy route while at IU Kokomo.
Andrew Tragesser | Tipton, IN | Tipton High School
A Tipton County native, Andrew comes to IU Kokomo this fall after graduating from nearby Tipton High School. He earned Athlete of the Week honors on multiple occasions for his performances in both soccer and cross country, choosing IUK because of the proximity to home.
Tragesser will study Human Resources in his time at IU Kokomo.
