LOUISVILLE KY. - The IU Kokomo women's cross country team competed Saturday morning at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic, finishing 33rd out of 49 teams in a highly competitive field.

THE RUNDOWN
- The Cougars placed 33rd out of 49 teams in the Womens 6k Blue Race.
- Senior Leslie Sprankles led the way for IU Kokomo, placing 115th with a time of 23:57.5. Her performance ranks as the fourth-fastest by a Cougar all-time and stands as the seventh-fastest individual time in program history.
- Sophomore Alysha Crouch followed closely behind, finishing 129th in 24:10.0. Crouch now ranks as the fifth-fastest performer in school history and recorded the eighth-fastest time ever by a Cougar.
- Freshman Courtney Adams ran 24:43.9 to place 177th, making her the seventh-fastest performer in school history. Fellow freshman Kadence Hoover finished 200th with a time of 25:01.6.
- Freshman Amber Detmer rounded out the Cougars' top five, clocking a 25:17.0. Detmer's performance places her as the tenth-fastest performer in program history.
