UPLAND, IN. - The IU Kokomo Mens Cross Country team returned to action Friday evening at the Taylor University XC Farm for the Ray Bullock Invitational, finishing fifth out of 11 teams.

THE RUNDOWN

• The Cougars finished fifth out of 11 teams Friday night with a total team time of 2:15:02 and an average time of 27:00. #2 Indiana Wesleyan won the team title with a total time of 2:06:47 and an average time of 25:21.
• Karter Jackson continues his impressive freshman campaign, clocking a time of 26:20.85 to place 24th overall. His performance moves him up to fourth on IU Kokomo's all-time performer list and eighth on the all-time performance list, while also establishing him as the fastest freshman in program history.
• Junior Drew Lovelace followed with a time of 26:45.43 to place 38th, while freshman Jeremiah Miles was close behind in 41st, finishing in 26:56.00.
• Freshman Daylen Schrock was next in the Cougar top five, finishing in 54th place, clocking in at 27:25.61. 
• Senior Bryce Stateler rounded out the Cougar top five in 58th place running a 27:34.17. 
• Four Cougars ran all time personal bests
