BECKLEY, W. Va. - The IU Kokomo women's soccer team is set to begin their trek to another River States Conference Championship this evening with a battle at WVU Tech in the Quarterfinals. 

IU Kokomo finished the 2024 regular season with an overall record of 6-8-4 and a conference mark of 3-3-3, good enough to earn the five seed in the RSC Championship. IUK entered the final week of the regular seaosn on a three match winless streak, but a win over IU Columbus and a draw at Shawnee State solidified their spot as the fifth seed.

WVU Tech enters the postseason with an overall record 5-4-6 and a conference record of 3-2-4, earning them the four seed in the RSC Championship. The Golden Bears come into Wednesday's match on the backs of a Senior Day win over the Pomeroys of SMWC.

The Cougars and Golden Bears have played once already this year in Beckley, a match that ended in a scoreless draw back on October 19th. 

Number one seed Oakland City finished conference play with an unbeaten record of 9-0, and they await the winner of this evenings match in West Virginia. That match will take place this Saturday in Evansville.
