KOKOMO, Ind. - IU Kokomo women's golfer
Hailey Stegemann finds herself in first place through one round of the inaugural Crimson Classic Friday, hosted by Indiana University Kokomo at Wildcat Creek Golf Course. Stegemann shot a 77 (+5) which has her two strokes in front of second place.
Freshman
Stefanie Dickerson would be the next Cougar behind Stegemann, shooting a 85 (+13) to put her in 11th. Junior Anna Hutchings followed right behind shooting an 87 (+15) on the day, putting her in 12th place.
Sophomores
Chloe Crook and
Carly Chandler would both shoot a 92 (+20) to round out their first rounds of play on Friday, good for T-15.
The Cougars as a team shot a total team score of 341 (+53) for the first round, giving them third place to finish the day. Indiana East leads the overall team standings, shooting a 325 (+37) to round out the day.
The Cougars will be back in action tomorrow morning to finish out the fall portion of their season with the final round of the Crimson Classic.
