KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo men's and women's outdoor track & field teams are set to compete at the 2023 River States Conference Championships hosted by Rio Grande and Ohio Christian Friday and Saturday.

The Cougars of IU Kokomo will look to carry their momentum over to Friday and Saturday's events at the River States Conference Outdoor Championships.

The women's team earned a strong second-place finish at the RSC Indoor Championships, which has given IU Kokomo the confidence needed to know that they are on the doorstep of a conference title. As for the men's team, the Cougars will look to improve upon their fourth-place finish at the RSC Indoor Championships.

Several IU Kokomo athletes are on the cusp of qualifying for the NAIA Outdoor Nationals, with Makala Pfefferkorn being the lone Cougar to have qualified thus far.
