Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth in Friday's Bradley Pink Classic

PEORIA, Ill. - The Cougars were back in action on Friday, as they traveled to Bradley University to race against some very strong competition in a large field of 178 runners.

Freshmen Steven Case lead the way for the Cougars with a 23rd place finish. Case crossed the line in a time of 26:32.30, which breaks his own all-time freshmen record.

Luis Saldana was next with a time of 26:42.70, which was enough for a 27th place finish.

Junior Caleb Vogl continues his stellar season with a time of 26:56.2, which was a 28 second personal record.

Here is what head Coach Josh Colvin had to say about the Men's performance on Friday: "The guys ran a solid race as we have all season.  We are deep so if someone runs a bad race or we need to rest someone, somebody else can step up.  I liked how we competed against several NCAA Division 1 schools.
