KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU Kokomo men's cross country team finished third Saturday morning at the IUK Cross Country Invitational. The Cougs were third of five teams, and were led by sophomore
Drew Caldwell. All seven of the IUK runners finished inside the top 30.
Goshen and IU East both finished with a team score of 33, however Goshen, the #23 team in the nation, won the tiebreaker to win Saturday's meet.
Drew Caldwell came across the line in eighth place with a time of 27:25.71, pacing the Cougars.
Cyrus Felger was the second IUK runner to finish, coming home in 16th with a time of 28:28.55.
Bryce Stateler finished the race 21st with a time of 29:00.21. Teammates
Luis Saldana and
Bryce Jennings followed in 22nd and 23rd. Saldana ran a 29:01.92 while Jennings crossed the line with a time of 29:06.29.

The Cougars will be back in action Saturday, October 1, as they will participate in the Greater Louisville Classic.
