KOKOMO, Ind. – The Indiana University Kokomo men's cross country team opened the 2022 season with a third place finish at the Cougar Cross Country Classic. #15 ranked Shawnee State won the Classic and River States Conference foe Ohio Christian finished second.
IU Kokomo had two finish in the top ten, with
Drew Caldwell leading the way in seventh with a time of 16:36.60.
Luis Saldana was the lone other Cougar to finish in the top 15. Saldana finished tenth with a time of 16:51.90.
Cyrus Felger crossed the line in 16th with a time of 17:09.00.
Bryce Jennings,
Bryce Stateler, and
Nathan Lozoya rounded out the top 20. Jennings finished in 18th with a time of 17:47.40, Stateler came in 19th with a time of 17:51.70, and Lozoya came in with a time of 17:54.20 to finish in 20th.
