TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - IU Kokomo junior runner
Luis Saldana finished the cross country season with a 258th place finish Friday morning at the 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Fort Wayne, Indiana native and New Haven High School graduate finished 258th out of 318 total runners in the men's 8000m race at Apalachee Regional Park. Saldana crossed the line with a time of 27:00.9.
Abraham Chelangam of Oklahoma City University finished first with a time of 23:41.9. Dordt University won the 2022 team title with a team-score of 97, 18 points clear of second-place Milligan.
