GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The IU Kokomo men's cross country team finished 25th at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
IU Kokomo faced stiff competition Saturday morning, as they competed against 20 teams that are either ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25 poll.
The Cougars set a new program record team total time of 2:14.10 as well as a program record team average time of 26:50.
Luis Saldana was the first Coug runner to cross the finish line Saturday morning, finishing 87th with a time of 26:19.50.
Drew Caldwell finished two spots behind Saldana in 89th. Caldwell ran a time of 26:19.80.
Nathan Lozoya was the third Cougar to finish, crossing the line 159th with a time of 27:01.20.
Senior
Cyrus Felger finished four spots back of Lozoya in 163rd. Felger finished with a time of 27:05.80.
Bryce Jennings rounded out the IUK top-five Saturday with a 183rd place finish. Jennings a ran a time of 27:24.60.

The Cougars will return to action November 5th as they host the River States Conference Cross Country Championship at Northview Church in Kokomo.
