ADA, Mich. - The IU Kokomo men's golf team delivered a solid performance at the Egypt Valley Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday, held at the challenging Egypt Valley Golf Club in Michigan and hosted by Taylor University.

THE RUNDOWN
- On day one, the Cougars posted team scores of 322 and 315, placing them in a tie for fourth alongside Mount Vernon Nazarene University. IU Kokomo stepped up in Tuesday's final round, firing an impressive 301 to close out the tournament with a three-round total of 938 (+74). Taylor University claimed the team title on their home course with a dominant 892 (+28), finishing 40 strokes ahead of both Spring Arbor and their own "B" team, who tied for second.
- Senior Hayden Williamson led the Cougars with a strong Top-10 performance, finishing ninth overall after posting rounds of 79, 78, and 73 for a three-round total of 230 (+14).
- Luke Watson finished just three strokes behind Williamson, tying for 11th place with rounds of 79, 78, and 76, totaling 233 (+17) over three rounds.
- Oliver Gearlds bounced back from a first-round 85 to finish tied for 17th, posting rounds of 79 and 75 for a three-round total of 239 (+23).
- Like Gearlds, Lucas Miller faced challenges in his first round on Monday, shooting an 83, but improved in the final two rounds with scores of 80 and 77 for a three-round total of 240 (+24).
- Nathan Daugherty finished tied for 23rd to complete the IU Kokomo lineup, while Cole Collins, competing as an individual, secured a tie for 36th place.
