IU Kokomo enters the postseason with an overall record of 27-19 and an RSC mark of 17-10, earning them the #4 seed in the conference tournament. The Cougars come into Thursday's game winners of three-straight, having swept Rio Grande this past weekend in the final series of the regular season.
IU Southeast comes into this week's RSC Championship with a record of 30-18 and a 20-7 RSC record, good enough for the #3 seed. The Grenadiers, much like IUK, swept their final regular season series this past weekend to enter the week winners of three-straight.
The Cougars and Grenadiers played a three-game series in New Albany back in March, with IU Southeast taking the series 2-1. Despite dropping the series, IU Kokomo held a lead in all three games played against IU Southeast.Â
