KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo baseball team is set to play their final River States Conference road series of the season this weekend at (RV) Point Park, beginning with a doubleheader Friday.

IU Kokomo enters the second to last weekend of the regular season with an overall record of 23-17 and an RSC mark of 13-8, good for fourth in the RSC standings. The Cougars enter the weekend series having won four straight games, including a 6-1 record in their last seven conference games.

Game one starter Lucas Letsinger has been on a roll as of late, having tossed consecutive complete-game shut-outs in his previous two starts. Letsinger owns an ERA of 0.75 in RSC games this season.

The Pioneers of Point Park come into the week 28-12 overall and 16-5 in RSC action. Point Park is receiving votes in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll, and they are tied for the top-spot in the league standings with Midway. The Eagles of Midway won last week's series with the Pioneers and therefore hold the tiebreaker.

IU Kokomo is 7-11 all-time against Point Park, having lost the last two matchups with the Pioneers.
