KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo baseball team is set for their first home series of River States Conference play this week as they will host the Eagles of Alice Lloyd.

The Cougars enter the week with a record of 12-9 and a River States Conference record of 4-2 after dropping two of three last weekend at IU Southeast. IU Kokomo swept the opening series of RSC play at Oakland City and are tied for second in the regular season standings.

IU Kokomo has scored double-digit runs in eight of their 21 games and have been strong on the mound, having earned three RSC Pitcher of the Week honors.

Alice Lloyd comes into the week with an overall record of 6-12, and the Eagles are winless at 0-6 in RSC action. Alice Lloyd has been swept by Point Park and West Virginia Tech two weekends into conference play.

This series will be the first all-time matchups between the two programs, as this is Alice Lloyd's first season in the RSC for baseball. The Cougars are 3-2 in home games this season.
