KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo Esports team fell 3-1 to Wisconsin-Whitewater in a Rocket League match held this past Friday night.

IU Kokomo found themselves trailing the best-of-five series 2-0 despite only allowing two goals between the first two games. The Cougars failed to score in either of the first two games, losing 1-0 in each game.

With their backs against the wall, the Cougars picked up a 5-2 win in game three to keep the series alive. Alex Rickey [rickey] led IUK with three goals in the game while Jackson McCullough [Astéri.x] added a pair of goals.

Needing to win game four to force a decisive game five, IU Kokomo came up short, losing 2-1 to drop the series 3-1.

On a bright note, all three games IU Kokomo lost were decided by a single point.

The Cougars will return to action Thursday, as the Overwatch team will compete against in-state foe Depauw University.
