GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Indiana University Kokomo baseball team lost a close one on Wednesday night as the Cougars fell to Georgetown College, 4-3. IU Kokomo led 3-2 after three complete innings but two runs from the Tigers in the fifth was the difference. The Cougars fall to 24-15 on the season.

- An IU Kokomo error in the bottom of the first allowed Georgetown to score a run to take the early 1-0 lead.
- Seth DeNoyer and Luke Hanson led off the third with back-to-back singles. A Tahj Borom single loaded the bases for Thomas Obergfell who recorded a sacrifice fly to even the score at one. Pat Mills drove in two runs to put the Cougars ahead 3-1.
- Georgetown got a run back in the bottom of the third to make it a 3-2 game.
- The Tigers plated two runs in the fifth inning to regain the lead at 4-3.
Pitching
- Ryan Beck got the start for the Cougars and threw three innings. Beck allowed two runs on two hits.
- Mark Goudy suffered the loss as he tossed 1.1 innings, allowing two runs.
- Connor Hurt was effective, throwing 2.2 in relief. Hurt allowed just one baserunner.
- Garrison Brege tossed an inning and allowed two hits.
