Scott Henson played his high school baseball at Pendleton Heights for Hall of Fame Coach Bill Stoudt, winning three sections and one regional. Henson finished his college baseball career at IUPUI in 1994 and after leading the team in hitting in multiple categories, signed in 1995 to play in the Frontier League of professional baseball. Henson spent 18 years as a high school coach including four years in North Carolina as the hitting coach at Northern Nash High School where they won two sectionals and made it to the final four two of those four years. He also coached for his mentor at Pendleton Heights, helping them to two more sectional titles and a regional title. Most recently, Henson helped to get Hamilton Southeastern back to their winning tradition as Head Coach for six years, winning two sectionals and sending 30+ players to the college ranks and three into professional baseball. In addition to his high school coaching experience, Henson also spent three years as a scout for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball. 

This season, Henson will be in charge of the catcher's development at Indiana University Kokomo. He will work with the catchers, assist with the offense, and using his knowledge of the state and his scouting background he will also help with recruiting efforts.
