Eli Hickman officially began as the Head Assistant/Recruiting Coordinator for the IU Kokomo baseball program on July 1st, 2025, first year IUK head coach Kolin Conner announced.

Academic Experience: graduated with B.S. in Pre-Clinical Exercise Physiology, pursued Masters Degree in Sports Performance at Concordia University-Chicago

Collegiate Playing Experience: played 5 years at Concordia University-Chicago

Additional Playing Experience: summer ball with the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League and the Newton Rebels of the then Sunflower Collegiate League

• ABCA Division III All-Region Defensive Team

• NACC Scholar Athlete

• CSC Academic All-District Team

• Top 10 in program history in stolen bases, triples and walks

Coaching Experience:

• Hitting Coach for Chicago Select and Illinois Hitmen travel baseball organizations

• Coach for Mission 360, coaching hitters and outfielders in offseason training settings who were apart of travel organizations in the Chicagoland area

• Hitting and fielding coach for the North Central Cyclones travel baseball organization

• Youth camp coordinator for Concordia Chicago Baseball kids camps

• Crossroads baseball series camp specialist

• Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at BSF Performance at Bo Jackson Elite Sports in Bensenville, IL as well as administering BSF Speed Camp for athletes

Additional Experience:

• Served as the graduate assistant for the Exercise and Sports Science department at Concordia Chicago, aiding in classroom activities and assisting in the on campus Human Performance Lab
