MARION, Ind. - Indiana University Kokomo senior student-athlete
Maddie Dotlich closed her collegiate career Thursday on a high note at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
No stranger to competing at NAIA National Championship meets in the Racewalk, Maddie entered the week seeded 14th in her second-consecutive Outdoor Nationals appearance on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.
Dotlich, a Cicero native and Hamilton Heights product, improved upon her seeding by one spot Thursday, crossing the finish line 13th in a time of 29:49.98.
Head Coach
Josh Colvin had this to say when asked about Dotlich's performance Thursday and college career: "Competing in her final track meet as a Cougar, Maddie racewalked her second fastest 5k of her career, while collecting the program's highest ever racewalk finish at Nationals on the women's side. She left a legacy at IU Kokomo and she will be missed."
