FORT WAYNE, IND. - The IU Kokomo women's indoor track and field team delivered a strong showing Friday at the Indiana Tech Warrior Indoor Invitational, highlighted by three new freshman school records.

THE RUNDOWN
- Kaniah Davis-Muff would break the freshman school record in the 400 meter dash on Friday, finishing sixth overall and crossing in 1:03.20.
- Freshman Mia Bustos turned in an outstanding meet, breaking two freshman school records. She placed third in the shot put with a mark of 11.73 meters and followed that with a first-place finish in the weight throw, posting an impressive throw of 15.52 meters.
- Senior Faith Rock would turn an impressive performance in the shot put finishing first overall with a mark of 13.10m.
- Senior Leslie Sprankles also secured a first-place finish, crossing the line in the 1,000-meter run at 3:10.60.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Paige Brooks, Jaydi Jones, Mia Castillo, and Kaniah Davis-Muff capped off the meet with a first-place finish, clocking a time of 4:33.29.
