  • Emily Monsour put the Cougars ahead with her first goal of the season, ending the night with two shots on target.

INSIDE THE HUDDLE
  • "Today's game was one of those games where we felt we were the better team but it didn't show as much in the first half. I am so proud of this team's resiliency and their grit. This game showed us some adversity and we handled it the right away." - Head Coach Sohaila Akhavein
  • "Reflecting on today's game, it's clear we experienced two different halves. Our first half was a tough one. We had little mistakes and small lapses that really affected our play. Starting that next half we knew we had 45 minutes to make opportunities and find a way to put the ball in the back of the net. After that first goal we really found our identify and continued to push. Ultimately we scored three goals in the second half which really showed our perseverance and grit from our team.  These are the games that remind us why we play and why we should always trust the process." - Senior Mya Hernandez
