- Veteran head coach Sohaila Akhavein's team created several more scoring opportunities in the final 30 minutes but couldn't find the back of the net again, securing a 2-0 victory over the Eagles and improving to 3-1-1 in River States Conference play.

- When called upon, senior goalkeeper Kailee Moore responded with poise, saving all four of Midway's shots on goal to secure her third shutout victory of the season.
