KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo Baseball team started a three game series against West Virginia Tech with a double header on Friday, winning game one 5-0 and losing game two 6-8.

- Lucas Letsinger pitched all 9 innings for a complete-game shut-out to improve to 6-3 on the season. Letsinger allowed no runs, four hits, and no free passes while striking out 12.

- Ben Harris started for the Cougars, pitching the first 5 innings. Harris gave up 4 hits and 1 run, with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk.
- Asa Christie came in for the sixth inning, giving up 2 hits, 2 walks and 4 runs.
- Victor Fujiu came in after Christie, earning 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.
- Garrison Brege relieved Fujiu. Brege gave up 2 hits and 2 runs.
- Ethan Leslie closed the game for IUK, giving up 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 1 batter and walking 2 in the seventh inning.
The Cougars return to action Saturday, finishing their three game series against the Golden Bears at 12:00 PM.
