KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU Kokomo women's basketball team will return to action Tuesday at IU East before hosting Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars enter the week after suffering a pair of losses to Carlow and Point Park last week. The Cougars have been led by junior forward Alaya Chapman as of late, as she is averaging 8.8 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game.

IU East comes into the week on the backs of a 105-66 loss at #11 Rio Grande. The Red Wolves are 9-13 overall and 8-4 in River States Conference play. IU East is led by the duo of Addie Brown and Kennedy Griffin, as Brown is averaging 16 points and Griffin averages 14 points a game.

IU Kokomo and IU East have already played once this season, with the Red Wolves winning 75-65 in Kokomo. The Cougars are 1-9 all-time against IU East.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College enters the week with an overall record of 12-8 and an RSC mark of 4-8. The Pomeroys won last time out against Carlow, beating the Celtics 92-66. SMWC is led by Brooklyn Jones, who is averaging nearly 15 points a game.

The Cougars and Pomeroys met once this season at SMWC, with the Pomeroys winning by eight. IUK is 1-2 all-time against SMWC.
