KOKOMO, Ind. – The Indiana University Kokomo women's soccer team will look to build upon back-to-back wins as they travel to Michigan Thursday for a matchup with Siena Heights University. The Cougars enter the match with the Saints with an overall record of 2-0-2. Thursday night's match will be the first between the two schools.

After two straight draws to open the regular season, second-year
Sohaila Akhavein's squad seems to be hitting their stride after two-consecutive shut-out wins. The Cougars beat IU South bend 6-0 August 27 before taking down Stephens College (Mo.) 4-0 this past Thursday. IU Kokomo has outscored their opponents 13-3 through four games this season.

Erica Bolinger has been a force in goal for the Cougs, tallying 23 saves in three games played.
Siena Heights (Mich.) will play their first home match of the season Thursday evening when they welcome IU Kokomo to town. The Saints enter the match with a record of 1-2, having won their last time out against Pikeville (Ky.), 3-1. SHU has scored six goals through three games and senior forward Marissa Young has three of those herself.
