KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo women's soccer team will play their first two River States Conference matches of the 2022 season this week, including a home and away match.

The Cougars enter River States Conference play on the backs of two-straight victories and a record of 4-1-2. IU Kokomo is led by senior forward Keely Hoopingarner who has ten goals so far this season. Freshman Kaiya Bogers has been playing well as of late, notching a goal and three assists in last week's two matches.

IU East was slated to finish second in the RSC according to the RSC Coaches' Preseason Poll, two spots ahead of IU Kokomo in fourth. The Red Wolves of IU East enter the match with a record of 1-3-4, and they are 0-3-1 in matches played away from home this season. The Cougs are 1-2 all-time against IU East.

The Bearcats of Brescia are 2-3 so far this year and were predicted to finish 11th in the RSC Coaches' Preseason Poll. The Bearcats and Cougs share one common opponent played so far, as both teams beat Stephens College (Mo.).  IU Kokomo is 3-0 all-time against Brescia.
