KOKOMO, Ind. – The Indiana University Kokomo men's and women's indoor track teams will compete in Fort Wayne this weekend at Indiana Tech's Strive for Greatness meet.

The Cougars men's and women's indoor track and field teams started their season strong this past weekend at the UIndy Season Opener. On the women's side, Makala Pfefferkorn set three school records and qualified for the NAIA Indoor Championships in the triple jump in her first meet as a Cougar. The women's team broke six school-records and had five top-five finishes, while 13 women had PR's.

The men's team performed well too, as six school-records were broken. School-records were set in the 60m hurdles, 60m, triple-jump, 400m, 200m, and 4x400 relay. The men's team had seven top-five finishes and 12 men had PR's.

Saturday's Strive for Greatness meet will begin at 11:00 A.M. with field events. Running events are set to start at 2:00 P.M.
