KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU Kokomo women's soccer team is set to play in their first RSC Tournament semifinal in the history of the program Wednesday evening. The Cougars are two wins away from an RSC Tournament title and an NAIA National Tournament bid.

The Cougars enter postseason play with an overall record of 12-2-3, and an 8-1-1 RSC mark. IU Kokomo dropped their regular season finale Saturday, October 29th, and come into Wednesday's matchup on ten days rest.
Offensively, the Cougars have been led by senior
Keely Hoopingarner, who has 19 goals on the year, more than anyone in the conference. Freshman goalkeeper Kailee Moore had the most starts in goal for IUK with 8, allowing four goals on 44 total shots on goal.
IU East comes into the RSC Tournament semifinal in Kokomo with a record of 7-4-8, and a 5-1-4 RSC record. The Red Wolves lone conference loss came to IU Kokomo. IU Kokomo beat IU East 3-0 in September at Kokomo Municipal Stadium to even the all-time series at two.
The Red Wolves are led offensively by sophomore midfielder Shelby O' Leary. O'Leary has 14 goals and two assists on the year. IU East has two freshman goalkeepers, with Mary Brewington seeing the most time in goal. Brewington has allowed 20 goals on 67 shots.
The winner of IU East @ IU Kokomo will take on the winner of Rio Grande @ Point Park this Saturday, November 12th.
