The Cougars enter Tuesday's matchup with the Eagles of Midway on 11 days rest. Last time out, IU Kokomo fell to IU East 75-65. IUK has been led by sophomores
Anya Friend and
Shamaria Walker on the offensive end. Friend is averaging 9.4 points per game while Walker is averaging 8.7.
Midway comes into Tuesday's RSC game with an overall record of 2-5 and an RSC mark of 1-1. The Cougars and Eagles have played one common opponent so far this season, Taylor University. Midway beat the Trojans by ten while IU Kokomo fell at Taylor by five.Â
IU Kokomo is 6-7 all-time against Midway, but have lost the last four contests between the two programs.
IU Southeast has enjoyed a strong start to the season, as the Grenadiers are 6-2 overall and 1-1 in RSC play. The Cougars and Grenadiers share one common opponent played thus far, Huntington University. IU Southeast beat the Foresters by two while IU Kokomo fell on the road at Huntington.
IU Kokomo leads the all-time series with IU Southeast 7-6, and the two teams each won on the other teams home floor last season.
