IU Kokomo enters the final week of the regular season with an overall record of 11-1-3 and a RSC record of 7-0-1. The Cougars are tied atop the RSC standings with Point Park, meaning Saturday's match with the Pioneers at Kokomo Municipal Stadium could decide the 2022 RSC Women's Soccer regular season champion.

The Cougars have been led offensively by senior Keely Hoopingarner all season, but graduate student Morgan Scruggs is coming off an impressive week of play that saw her earn RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors. Scruggs scored three goals and notched two assists in a 2-0 week for the Cougs.

Carlow is set to visit IU Kokomo Thursday, and the Celtics will have their sights set on trying to spoil the Cougars shot at the RSC regular season crown. The Celtics are 7-6-2 on the season and 2-4-2 in RSC play. IUK is 2-0-1 all-time against Carlow, as the Cougars won 3-1 in Pittsburgh last season.

The Pioneers of Point Park enter the week tied atop the River States Conference standings with IU Kokomo, as both teams have identical conference marks of 7-0-1. Point Park is set to play at Oakland City Thursday afternoon, and if both IU Kokomo and Point Park win Thursday, Saturday's match at Kokomo Municipal Stadium will be for the RSC regular season title.

Point Park is 8-6-1 on the year and are winners of seven of their last eight matches. IU Kokomo fell to Point Park on the road in last year's RSC quarterfinals in double-overtime, and the Cougars are 0-4 all-time against Point Park. IUK and Point Park have only met once before at Kokomo Municipal Stadium, and the Pioneers came out on top 3-2 in 2020.
