Kolin Conner was announced as the next head baseball coach at Indiana University Kokomo on July 1, 2025, bringing nearly a decade of collegiate coaching experience at Concordia University Chicago (CUC), where he most recently served as head coach.
In his first season leading the Cougars of IUK in 2026, Conner guided IU Kokomo to a 16-30 overall record and a 12-15 mark in River States Conference play, with the program navigating a challenging early schedule that featured its first eight games on the road against three opponents ranked inside the top 15 nationally.
Conner arrived at IU Kokomo after a highly successful tenure at Concordia University Chicago, where he served as head assistant and recruiting coordinator from 2015–19 before being promoted to head coach in 2019. Over his six seasons as head coach, he developed a consistent and competitive program culture, highlighted by a 26-16 overall record and a 16-8 conference mark in the 2025 season. Under his leadership, CUC produced multiple award winners, including a Terry Schubert Award recipient and an AW Gross Award recipient, while also achieving the highest team GPA among male programs on campus in each of his final six seasons.
During his head coaching tenure at CUC, Conner coached 25 All-Conference selections and seven All-Region honorees, including an ABCA Division III Region All-Defensive selection. His teams also produced 72 All-Conference Scholar-Athlete selections, one Academic All-American, and 14 CSC Academic All-District honorees, reflecting a strong emphasis on academic and athletic success. Prior to becoming head coach, he helped guide Concordia Chicago to the first two NCAA Division III World Series appearances in program history while assisting in the development of multiple All-Americans, three conference Players of the Year, and eight All-Region performers.
A native of Indiana and graduate of North Central High School, Conner played collegiately at Lincoln Trail College before transferring to St. Joseph’s College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies in 2013. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally in the Frontier League with the Joliet Slammers and Evansville Otters before transitioning into coaching.
Conner and his wife, Lyndsey, reside in the greater Kokomo area with their two children, Leo and Layla.
