Having served on staff at IU Kokomo as an Assistant Coach since the 2022 season, Jeremy Honaker has now stepped in to serve as Interim Baseball Coach for the 2025 season.
Honaker came to IU Kokomo after spending a pair of seasons as a Volunteer Assistant at the University of Indianapolis in 2020 and 2021.
Prior to UIndy, Jeremy was the Head Baseball Coach at Martinsville High School. While there, he led the Artesians to a Mid-State Conference and IHSAA Sectional Championship in 2019, earning MSC Coach of the Year after a 22-8 season.
Jeremy also has a plethora of experience coaching in both the Indiana Bulls and Midwest Canes Travel Baseball Organizations, as well as eight seasons as an assistant at baseball powerhouse Zionsville HS. While serving as the varsity head assistant coach from 2014-2018 and the program’s hitting coach, Zionsville went 112-45-1 in that span, winning three sectionals, two regionals and one semi-state, advancing to the IHSAA 4A title game in 2016.
Honaker attended Connersville High School and played collegiately at then NCAA DII, University of Southern Indiana. He currently resides in Noblesville with his wife Misha.
