Student Activities and Events Center - The newest facility on the campus of IU Kokomo and the first new building on campus in 20 years. Located on the east end of campus off of Rebecca lane at 2300 S. Washington St. The SAEC opened in the Fall of 2020 as the new home of IU Kokomo Athletics. The 24,000 sq/ft facility features all athletic staff offices, the main gymnasium, the main athletic training room, a team meeting and film room, four locker rooms, and a spacious lobby full of lounging furniture of students. The gym has seating for 950 spectators and numerous technology enhancements to make the spectator experience one of the best in small college athletics.
Cougar Gym: IU Kokomo opened Cougar Gym in the Fall of 2013. Located at 507 E. Superior St. in beautiful Downtown Kokomo it is the practice facility for IU Kokomo Volleyball as well as Men's and Women's Basketball Teams. The renovated locker rooms are equipped with custom wood lockers
Kokomo Municipal Stadium: Kokomo Municipal Stadium is home to the IU Kokomo Baseball team and Soccer teams. Opening in 2015, the stadium has been voted one of the best facilities in all of college athletics. The field is an all-turf surface which provides year-round practice and competition space. Fixed seating for 3,000, grass berm seating for 1,000 and four spacious suites allows for a capacity of over 4,500. The home dugout, clubhouse and bullpens for the baseball team are along the third baseline and offer top of the line training space for the team. The soccer Locker room is located on the south side of the stadium. Added in 2016 is the 14' x 39' hi-def LED video board.
The Cole Fitness Center: The CFC opened in August of 2013 and is the strength and conditioning home of IU Kokomo Athletics. The facility of 23,000sq/ft of cardio strength training and free weight equipment. Full locker rooms, as well a classroom for team meetings and film are just some of the amenities teams can take advantage of. Additionally, space contains two 2,000 sq/ft multi-purpose fitness rooms equipped with kettlebells, yoga supplies, spin bikes, kickboxing bags, and all other equipment needed for our vibrant group fitness programs. These classes are also used as alternative workouts for varsity teams. The facility has a training room and a 1/12 mile track surrounding the perimeter. Click HERE for a video tour.
