KOKOMO, Ind. - The No. 13-seeded IU Kokomo volleyball team will welcome Reinhardt University to Kokomo on Saturday at 1:00 PM in the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship Opening Round, marking the Cougars' 11th consecutive appearance in the national tournament.

The Cougars have earned the right to host an NAIA Opening Round match for a third-straight year, as Saturday's winner between the Cougars and Eagles will advance to Sioux City for pool play at the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship presented by Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront and Explore Siouxland.

IU Kokomo enters NAIA Tournament play riding a 25-match winning streak, tied for the second-longest in program history. The Cougars swept all three opponents in the RSC Championship without dropping a set, securing the program's ninth River States Conference title.

The Cougars were battle-tested early through a challenging non-conference schedule, with four of their five losses coming against opponents who were either ranked or receiving votes. IUK carried momentum from the non-conference slate into its third consecutive perfect record in River States Conference play.

Reinhardt enters the weekend with a 29-7 overall record after earning an NAIA Opening Round berth as the runner-up in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. The Eagles have been strong away from home, posting a 12-2 record on the road this season.

The Cougars and Eagles share two common opponents this season in Columbia International and Lindsey Wilson. IU Kokomo went 2-0 against the two, while Reinhardt finished 2-2, going 1-2 versus CIU and 1-0 against Lindsey Wilson.

IU Kokomo and Reinhardt will square off for the first time on Saturday, with the NAIA Championship Opening Round serving as the programs' inaugural matchup.
