BROOKINGS, SD. - The Cougars traveled to Brookings, South Dakota to compete in the NAIA Indoor Track and field National Championship this weekend. The Cougars competed in the 600m run and the 3000m racewalk. 

The day started off with the 3000m racewalk where the Cougars were ready to go. Ethan Carmean had an impressive 10th place finish with a time of 14:36.55. Bryce Statler finished 22nd overall with a time of 16:44.76.  

Senior Julian Wallace put on a show in the final indoor race of his excellent college career. Wallace went into the event ranked 24th out of 29 competitors. The Kokomo native ran an impressive 1:20.61 to grab 13th place and set a new school record by half a second.

The Cougars will kick of the outdoor track season with a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite from March 14 -March 16.
