KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo volleyball team's depth was on full display in Friday's sweep of Alice Lloyd, as all healthy players on the roster saw a good amount of action. With the victory, the Cougars improve to 20-4 overall and 7-0 in River States Conference action.

IU Kokomo was dominant early, jumping out to an 8-0 lead. Alice Lloyd got within four, but trailed 16-10 before an 8-0 run from the Cougars made it a 14-point lead. IUK took set one 25-11.

Leading by just one at 9-8 in set two, Heather Hayes's squad utilized another 8-0 spurt to distance themselves from the Eagles. Alice Lloyd mustered three more points in the second, dropping the second by an identical score to set one at 25-11.

The closest set of the match proved to be the final one, as the Cougars experimented with rotations while still managing to close out the match in three with a 25-17 third-set victory.

Mya Grigsby floored 20 kills to lead the Cougars, while Lea Mummert recorded seven kills and both Lexi Broyles and Cali Cummings added six apiece.

Three Cougs totaled double-digit assists, led by Kaley Lyons with 20. Macy Chafin and Allison Richman followed with 13 and 11 respectively.
