NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo women's tennis team fell at undefeated Saint Mary's College Saturday afternoon inside Notre Dame's Eck Tennis Pavillion.

Saturday's match was scored using DIII scoring in which each doubles match scores a point. Therefore, the Belles took down the Cougars 9-0 this weekend.

2. Chamberlin/Hosang (SMC) def. Reiley Hiser/Maria Oliveira (IUK) 8-3
3. McLeod/Demblans-Dechans (SMC) def. Lillianne Fishro/Chloe Schmidt (IUK) 8-5

SINGLES
1. Chamberlin (SMC) def. Maria Oliveira (IUK) 6-4, 6-1
2. Campbell (SMC) def. Larissa O'Rourke (IUK) 6-1, 6-0
3. Kealy (SMC) def. Reiley Hiser (IUK) 6-1, 7-5
4. Hosang (SMC) def. Andrea Saylor (IUK) 6-0, 6-1
5. McLeod (SMC) def. Lillianne Fishero (IUK) 6-0, 6-2
6. Demblans-Dechans (SMC) def. Chloe Schmidt (IUK) 6-1, 6-1

The #3 doubles duo of Fishero/Schmidt battled hard but fell 8-5 as the last doubles match off the court.

Reiley Hiser competed well at #3 singles as she nearly took the second set after dropping set one 6-1. Maria Oliveira played a competitive opening set at #1 singles

The Cougars will be back in action this Friday, March 31st, as they will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to take on Calvin University.
