GREENTOWN, Ind. - The IU Kokomo women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match 7-0 to #10 Indiana Wesleyan Wednesday night at the Howard County Indoor Tennis Center in Greentown.

Singles Matches

• 1. Dveksler (IWU) def. Orlando (IUK) 6-3, 6-3
• 2. Barger (IWU) def. Oliveira (IUK) 6-3, 6-4
• 3. Snider (IWU) def. O'Rourke (IUK) 6-0, 6-3
• 4. Connolly (IWU) def. Hiser (IUK) 6-2, 6-0

IU Kokomo took two games at all three doubles-points, but the #10 ranked Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan proved too much and won all three doubles-matches 6-2.

Maria Oliveira played Indiana Wesleyan's #2 singles player tough, but ultimately fell 6-3, 6-4. Gabbie Orlando played well, but fell 6-3, 6-3.

The Cougars will have a couple of weeks before they begin their Spring Break trip. IUK will play five matches in six days beginning March 10th with a road match at RSC foe Brescia University.
