KOKOMO, Ind. - While there will be five IU Kokomo athletic programs competing this week just like the previous two weeks, two teams are set to begin their regular seasons in the coming days. 

Men's basketball will travel to Illinois to play in the Governor's State Classic Friday and Saturday, tipping off their 2023 season.

The women's basketball team will open 2023-2024 play Saturday afternoon with a non-conference matchup at IU South Bend.

Volleyball's win-streak is up to 19, and the Cougars are set for three home-matches in a span of five days, beginning Tuesday at 7:00 against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Esports went 2-1 last week across the three titles, and will look to continue their strong play this week with three more regular season matches.

Women's soccer has reached the final week of the regular season. The Cougars will play at IUPUC Thursday afternoon before closing out the regular season with a home match against fellow league-leaders Rio Grande.
