KOKOMO, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo men's and women's cross country programs have officially released their 2026 schedules, as the Cougars look to build upon another successful season under head coach Josh Colvin and associate head coach Jordan Fivecoate.

The 2026 campaign features four regular season meets, culminating with the River States Conference Championship and NAIA National Championships in November. The Cougars will also once again host the Cougar Classic Alumni/Community Race at Northview Church in Kokomo on August 29th at 9:00 a.m., giving alumni, supporters, and community members an opportunity to race alongside the program prior to the start of the regular season. Both the men's and women's programs will compete at the same events throughout the season as they prepare for postseason competition.

IU Kokomo will open the 2026 season on September 4th at Indiana Wesleyan's Twilight Invitational, marking the fourth consecutive year the Cougars have begun their campaign on the IWU Cross Country Course in nearby Marion. The schedule also includes stops at the Crimson Pride Invitational and Nike XC Town Twilight Invitational before the postseason begins.

The 2026 slate is highlighted by appearances at prestigious cross country courses in Blue River Cross Country Course and the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, with the October 2nd Nike XC Town Twilight Invitational at LaVern Gibson serving as a preview meet to the RSC Championships held on the same course.

The River States Conference Championship is scheduled for November 7th, while the NAIA Cross Country National Championships will take place on November 20th in Vancouver, Washington.
