KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo women's tennis team will begin 2023 Spring season play Saturday in Indianapolis against NCAA Division II opponent Cedarville University.

IU Kokomo vs Cedarville University (Ohio) • 12:00 P.M.

The Cougars finished the Fall season with a record of 2-4, winning at Trine University 7-2 and at home against Goshen 5-2. IU Kokomo suffered close, 4-3 losses, to both Bethel and Grace.

IU Kokomo also competed at the River States Conference Invite as well as the ITA Midwest Regional held at Indiana Wesleyan. Freshman Maria Oliveira won the #4 singles flight at the RSC Invite and Andrea Saylor won the #6 singles flight.

Cedarville University enters the Spring season after finishing the Fall slate with a record of 2-3. The Yellow Jackets took on River States Conference foe IU East, falling 4-3. Their two wins on the Fall came against Capital and Shawnee State. 

The Yellow Jackets of Cedarville University won the only previous matchup with IU Kokomo, winning 6-1 in February of 2022.
